Future Forces That will Disrupt Sustainable Business

In 2019, the Global Environmental Management Initiative (GEMI) and the Institute for the Future (IFTF) produced a ten-year forecast examining four external forces that will disrupt sustainable business: New Spectrums of Meaning, Resources, Time, and Value Creation. This 60-minute discussion with SSF, GEMI, and IFTF explores these future forces and how corporate sustainability leaders can develop strategies to respond and lead through emerging disruptions.

He is the author of Full-Spectrum Thinking: How to Escape Boxes in a Post-Categorical Future.

She is a research fellow at the Global Development Policy Center, Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future, and Institute for Sustainable Energy at Boston University, and a visiting professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
